THE BAG EDIT — FIND YOUR EVERYDAY COMPANION
Bag Care
A little care, every day. These gentle habits help you look after your bag without over-treating its finish.
After each outing
- Empty your bag and gently wipe away surface dust with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid overfilling. Give fastenings and straps room to move without forcing them.
- Keep pens, cosmetics and liquids in closed pouches to protect the interior.
If your bag gets wet
Blot moisture gently with a soft cloth and let the bag dry naturally at room temperature. Keep it away from radiators, hairdryers and direct sunlight. Do not soak, machine-wash or tumble-dry.
Cleaning different finishes
Use a dry, non-abrasive cloth for routine care of smooth or textured leather. Avoid household cleaners, alcohol, hand sanitiser, bleach and abrasive sponges. For suede, nubuck, fabric or mixed-material panels, use care methods specifically suited to that material; do not apply a general leather cream to every surface.
Conditioners and protective sprays
Finishes respond differently. Check that a product is suitable for your bag’s exact material and finish, follow its instructions and test on a small hidden area first. If you are unsure, ask us before applying anything.
Store with a little space
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Lightly support the shape with clean, unprinted tissue. Avoid stretching or compressing the bag.
- Use a breathable dust bag where available; avoid sealed plastic storage.
- Keep light colours away from dark denim and other fabrics that may transfer dye.
