THE BAG EDIT — FIND YOUR EVERYDAY COMPANION

Bag Size Guide

Find the right bag by comparing its dimensions with the items you carry every day. Each Plain Thread product page lists measurements in centimeters and inches, with separate interior measurements where available.

How to read bag measurements

  • Width: the side-to-side measurement of the bag.
  • Height: the distance from the base to the top of the body; handles are excluded where noted.
  • Depth: the front-to-back measurement.
  • Strap drop: the distance from the top of the strap to the top of the bag when carried.

Check what fits inside

Measure your phone, wallet, glasses case and other essentials, then compare them with the interior dimensions on the product page. Exterior measurements do not represent usable space. Allow room for the opening, lining and the way your items sit together.

For a tablet or laptop, measure the device with its case and compare it with the stated interior width, height and depth. Do not assume a device fits based on the bag name or exterior size alone.

Choose how you carry

Explore crossbody bags for hands-free carrying, top-handle handbags for a handheld option, or satchels and work bags for your daily routine. Check the strap options and drop range for each style.

Measurements are approximate. If you need help, contact Plain Thread with the product name and the dimensions of the item you want to carry.
